Location: Subway

The closest subway station to the CSIC is República Argentina (Juan de la Cierva exit). From there, you can access the Institute for the Structure of Matter following the directions in the map.

Subway line 6 (Circle line) has a stop at República Argentina. Another option is Nuevos Ministerios station: lines 6, 8 (Nuevos Ministerios - Barajas Airport) and 10 (Hospital Infanta Sofía - Puerta del Sur). Line 10 has direct access to Chamartin station and the city center. If you arrive at Nuevos Ministerios on either one of these two lines, it's not necessary to transfer to line 6 to República Argentina as the CSIC is vey close.
